Cosmetic consultations do not have a fee at Carolina Dermatology. However, these visits are strictly limited to the procedures listed under Cosmetic Dermatology on this site. All other issues or problems fall under general dermatology and if discussed during a cosmetic consultation have an associated office visit fee in accordance with your insurance.

General Dermatology patients are responsible for co-payments and deductibles at
the time of service unless the office does not participate with the insurance plan,in
which case the patient is to pay in full. Depending on the insurance plan, the
patient may or may not be reimbursed for a procedure or visit. It is the
responsibility of the patient to find out the insurance plan's policies. For some
cosmetic procedures, a reservation fee is required to hold your appointment.

Our office accepts Visa, Mastercard, money orders, certified checks and cash for
cosmetic procedures. The same forms of payment are accepted for general
dermatology appointments plus non-certified checks. A fee applies for returned
checks. All Cosmetic Dermatology procedures are payable in full at the time the
service is rendered.

General Dermatology and Cosmetic Dermatology appointments are available
Monday - Thursday, 9:00AM -3:45PM and on Friday 9:00AM -12:15PM.
