Jerry E. Cooley, M.D., originally from Missouri and
Massachusetts, graduated magna cum laude from
Wheaton College in Illinois. He attended the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine where
he graduated with highest honors in 1992.

Dr. Cooley completed a medicine internship at Johns
Hopkins Bayview in
Baltimore. He completed his dermatology residency at the University of Maryland,
where he served as chief resident. In addition to general and cosmetic
dermatology, Dr. Cooley specializes in microsurgical hair restoration for baldness
and hair loss. He is a well known hair transplant surgeon.
Dr. Cooley is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and
International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. He is certified by the American
Board of Dermatology and American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery. He lives
in Charlotte and has two children.
Rebecca L.
Smith, M.D. is originally from Birmingham,
Alabama. She graduated summa cum laude from Judson
College in Marion, Alabama. She attended medical school
at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and
graduated with honors in 1990.
Dr. Smith completed an internship in Pediatrics, then a
residency in dermatology at the Medical University in
Charleston, S.C. |

Dr. Smith has special interests in pediatric
dermatology, general skin disorders,
sclerotheapy, chemical peels, and Botox. She is board certified by the American
Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Pediatric Dermatology. She is
also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She resides in
Fort Mill, S.C. with her husband and two children.
Deborah Gardner Nixon,
M.D. received her Bachelor of
Science degree from Duke University and medical degree
from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School
of Medicine. She completed her internship at Vanderbilt
University, followed by an internal medicine residency at
Georgetown University.
Dr. Nixon completed residency training in dermatology at
the University of South Florida. |

Dr. Nixons practice includes
both general and surgical dermatology problems. As
well, Dr. Nixon specializes in aesthetic services including Botox for facial wrinkles
and scars; sclerotherapy for fine veins; and chemical peels to treat sun damage,
wrinkles, and acne scars.
Dr. Nixon resides in Charlotte with her husband and two children.
