Jerry Cooley, M.D. graduated magna cum laude from Wheaton College in Illinois. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, where he graduated with highest honors.
Dr. Cooley completed a medicine internship at Johns Hopkins Bayview in Baltimore. He then completed his dermatology residency at the University of Maryland, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Cooley opened Carolina Dermatology in Charlotte in 1998. In addition to general and cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Cooley specializes in microsurgical hair restoration for baldness and hair loss. Dr. Cooley is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery. He lives in Charlotte with his wife and two children.
Aaron Blackmer, PA-C is a board certified Physician Assistant. He graduated from the University of Nebraska and received his clinical training at Fort Sam Houston, Texas and Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He is an experienced Dermatology Physician Assistant and also has over ten years of surgical experience working in the operating room. Mr. Blackmer is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Mr. Blackmer lives in Charlotte with his wife and two children.
